Do gays go to heaven

In this article, we’ll explore the different perspectives on this question and how they reflect varying interpretations of faith, sexuality, and the afterlife.
Traditional Christian Views on Sexuality and Salvation
Historically, many conservative Christian denominations have held the belief that same-sex relationships are sinful, based on certain biblical passages.
Sin, no matter how much we struggle with it, shouldn’t feel right anymore. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
11 And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides?
Notice the abrupt turnaround with the word but. The church labeled these individuals as ‘back sliders’ or ‘fake Christians’ just looking for ‘fire insurance’.

Mike Cynar was raised in a church setting where he frequently noticed that many attendees would eventually drift away.
Unrepentant sinners will die in their sin and be judged accordingly. These groups interpret the Bible through a lens of love, compassion, and acceptance. And there is no question that homosexual acts are displeasing to Him, just as heterosexual sin is displeasing to Him. If we insist on living a gay lifestyle, as if being gay was our identity, we are turning our backs on Christ’s sacrifice.
And if our heart is to get others to walk in the Spirit and live a godly life, then the best approach is not a beat down sermon, but rather to remind other that it is only when we understand our true identity in Christ that we will live it out. Yes, it’s true, if you’re convinced that God thinks you’re a dirty sinner, you will ultimately continue a lifestyle that mirrors that view, but if you truly believe that even on your worst day, you are called holy, sanctified, justified, and will be presented blameless in the end, well, it turns out this is the secret to living out on the outside what has been worked in to the inside.
Paul answers these questions clearly in 1 Corinthians 6:9–10. Avoiding getting drunk won’t do it.
It turns out that it is grace that leads to repentance. And thus, "Jesus Without Religion" was born. This issue centers on the intersection of religious beliefs, scripture interpretations, and how they relate to LGBTQ+ identities.
Boastful? Some go on to marry and live in Christ-honoring, heterosexual marriages. We begin to see people in categories, rather than as individuals, and this is dangerous. In other words, how good we are at avoiding sin has zero connection with our being saved.
Arrogance? This trend was noticeable not just in one denomination, but across Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, and many other churches. The idea is that unrepentant sin, regardless of its nature, can lead to spiritual separation from God and, in some interpretations, prevent a person from entering heaven.
The most commonly cited scriptures in this debate include passages from Leviticus, Romans, and Corinthians, which some interpret as condemning homosexual behavior.
And not being gay will save humanity.
