Adding that Druski is "funny and nice," Rose then described how she moves while being in a relationship. This comment was followed by Druski visiting Atlanta radio station V-103, where he claim that he couldn't keep up with Rose's expensive lifestyle. It wasn’t just a soundbite—it was a whole mood.
Druski and Rubi are still in the budding stages of their new romance ... But now, looking back with this new context, that moment was clearly one of hurt. “It wasn’t nothing bad that happened. Druski admitted he might not have been ready to fully handle a relationship with someone as high-profile and secure as Rubi. I just wanted to clear it up because he’s really bothered by that.”

He kept it all love, but made sure to drop a gem that hit fans right in the feels:
“When you have a beautiful woman of that caliber, it comes with a lot, and I don’t know if I was prepared yet. and they're taking things slow, but all the stars seem to be in alignment!!!
They recently hit it off during a trip to the Dominican Republic for a mutual friend's birthday, realized they had a bond and wanted to take their relationship to the next level.

Druski would respond on his Instagram Stories, with an image of his face superimposed on the character of Alvin Johnson (played by Nick Cannon) from 2003 romantic comedy Love Don't Cost a Thing.
"Coming out of that, you better have them pockets ready," Druski said on what he learned from the relationship.
In a post-interview Instagram Story, Druski would say that he was "trolling" and that Rose "spent more money than him" while they were romantically linked.

While on stream, Rubi finally addressed the rumors head-on, saying:
“Me and Dru were really in a relationship and I said it was PR because he pissed me the fk off and hurt my feelings.
She followed that up by saying, “He is funny and nice tho… I only give it up if I’m in love, ion care how much money a n—a got. When asked what her favorite love song was, she didn’t hold back.
“F— love. Okay, I’m single, guys,” she responded before confidently strutting off.
At that time, fans assumed the relationship with Druski was either fake or long over.
