    OTC soft-opened on Halloween and fully opened this month, but Dismang can already say, “This bar has a huge amount of history to me.”

    He worked security there when it was Tronix. Win fab prizes and the proceeds benefit a different charity every month. It's a fun, inclusive event with live entertainment, food, and drinks.

  • OutWest Film Fest: This film festival focuses on lgbtq+Q+ cinema from around the world.

    The Neutron/Tronix bar on Kietzke Avenue is more of an action-oriented dance club with a large space and really good drink specials. As one of the oldest gay bars in town, they have a dedicated clientele. (“Smoking’s come back around,” he observed.

    “I don’t want to be guy-exclusive or female-exclusive,” he said.

    On the second Thursday of every month, The Emerson Bar presents Drag Bingo! Located in downtown Reno, this bar always has some kind of event going on.
    Breweries, distilleries and wineries can be found all around the area.

    OTC has hosted a few charity events so far.

    This center is dedicated to advocacy, education, and services, aiming to build, connect, and strengthen the lgbtq+Q+ community through various programs and inclusive activities.

    “We’re going backwards,” Dismang said. The Reno Gay Pride Festival, held in Wingfield Park, has been a beacon of celebration for over two decades, growing each year in its mission to spread inclusivity and acceptance.
