Is Graham Norton married?

Since July 2022, Graham has been married to filmmaker Jonathan 'Jono' McLeod. He wrote: "The experiment lasted for about six months and it was a disaster.

And your dating pool becomes smaller and smaller — but that’s because you want it to be.

"When you’re young it’s the opposite — you know you could be picky, but you’re not. She would have a defined function. But that's not the case if your partner is male. I realise that even to a perfect stranger the outcome would have been glaringly obvious, but when you are in the middle of something and you are desperate for it to work, you'll try anything."

Talking to the Sunday Mirror back in 2015, he said that he felt it would be easier to find someone if he was straight, explaining: "This will sound sexist but that doesn't mean it's any less true.

"If I were a straight man, my female partner would have a role in the eyes of society.

Every man – no matter how young or fey – has something of the alpha in him." He added that his ex-boyfriends have previously ended up "loathing" attending events with him because they hadn't "earned it for themselves".

Graham's comments on being single

While Graham is now happily married, he has previously said that he didn't mind being single, telling The Times in 2021: "There’s a weird thing that happens in your life that the older you get the less right you have to be picky, but the pickier you become.

"Graham is so famous, he's at that level where your life is just like put on a platform.

"But I am enjoying it. He then went out with music marketing consultant Andrew Smith, who he split from in 2015. out of step.’

He said: ‘I thought I’m feeling out of step now, it must be the Protestant thing and then it was a revelation when I left Ireland and I realized that that wasn’t the Protestant thing at all.’

Reacting ahead of his appearance on The Late Late Show last week, Graham noted how he looked ‘so young.’

‘There’ll probably be a time when I’m looking at my appearance tonight thinking I look young,’ he added with a laugh.

The author and chat show host recalled the night being ‘such a thrill.’

He said: ‘It’s so rare to be kind of aware that something special — you know, normally, it’s you look back and you go, “Oh, that was special.”

‘I knew on this night it was a really special thing to be on with Gay, who I’d admired for so many years, and then Terry, who was kinda my career mentor/idol in the UK.’

He likened the 1999 appearance to his appearance on the show last week, which saw him joining Patrick Kielty, with American talk show host Conan O’Brien also appearing on the show.

Social media users took to the comments full of praise for the yet-again resurfaced clip, with many lauding the late Gay Byrne.

One said: ‘Gay Byrne was the best person for the Late Late Show… since he finished it just hasn’t been the same anymore.’

Another added: ‘Gay knew how to interview a guest, Graham was priceless that night.’

A third wrote: ‘It was funny.’
